Why can't anyone just say, "Whoops", instead of passing the buck?
"Whoops" should be the international language for admitting to oneself and others that a mistake was made so that the mistake can be acknowledged, consequences (if any) dealt with, and everyone moves on.
This word can only be used with sincerity during moments when a true slip-up has occurred; not as an excuse for premeditated stupidity.
